Mr. Monteverde graduated from Stetson University College of Law with honors and was elected President of the Stetson Student Bar Association during his 3L year. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Rollins College with Honors, Magna Cum Laude.
Mr. Monteverde’s experience ranges from representing small businesses to Fortune 500 companies. As a result of his experience, Mr. Monteverde has developed the ability to obtain results where it may have seemed impossible before. He was recognized as a Top 100 Trial Lawyer for 2014 and 2015 by the National Trial Lawyers Association for his success at both jury and bench trials. Mr. Monteverde is a member of the Florida Bar and the Hillsborough County Bar Association.
In 2010, the National Trial Lawyer Association recognized Mr. Monteverde as one of the top 10 attorneys in South Florida. In 2011, The National Trial Lawyer Association recognized him as one of 20 young trial lawyers in South Florida.
Throughout Mr. Monteverde’s career, he has been recognized as a champion for his clients who have been charged with criminal conduct. He was nominated twice as a SLED (State Law Enforcement Division) Legislative Representative and was honored with the Governor’s Conservation Award in 2010.
He has won millions of dollars for clients representing them in matters before the Court of Appeal, Appellate Division Four, Florida Supreme Court, and U.S. District Courts throughout Florida; he also successfully avoided litigation with his clients’ insurance companies, and lessor’s in more than 650 cases.
