Sudhir Choudhrie is a businessman who has played a dynamic role in international business, charity, peacekeeping, and politics. He was born and raised in India, married with two kids, and now living in the UK. Sudhir began his career when he established the Magnum International Trading Company Ltd, which focused on evaluating and expanding India’s market export. He then moved and invested in the hospitality industry thus having a portfolio in a number of resorts.

Some of the achievements Sudhir Choudhrie has made have been the involvement in the strategic alliance between the UK and India and being a consultant on India to the UK Liberal Democrats leader. He is also part of the Green Templeton College at Oxford University, has worked with the College to organize an annual Symposium on Emerging Markets and is involved in education and health charities in the US, UK and India. Sudhir Choudhrie is current an Executive Director at Magnum International Trading Company, Vice Chairman at Alpha Corp Development Pvt Ltd and previously was the Chairman at Ebookers Plc.

Choudhrie had a heart condition where the titin gene was discovered and had to go through a heart transplant for his survival. As a result, he then started a family foundation, which touched the lives of organ donors and recipients and urged more people to become donors and save lives. The Choudhrie Family Foundation’s purpose is not only to fund educational and medical health developments all over the world but also to support cardio-vascular medicine research.

Sudhir Choudhrie’s story is a reminder that there is hope for all to succeed in life. Sudhir Choudhrie supports life-saving organ donor campaigns since he is a benefactor. Sudhir was one of the longest surviving heart transplant patients after his successful surgery in 1999, which Dr. Oz conducted.
