Kelcy Warren is a successful business leader, philanthropist, and member of the Horatio Alger Association. He is the founder and executive chairman of Energy Transfer Partners and Energy Transfer Equity, two of the largest energy companies in the United States. Warren has been a major force in the energy industry, and is a noted philanthropist and generous supporter of charitable causes.

Growing up in East Texas, Kelcy Warren was the first in his family to attend college. He received a business degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and began his career in the energy industry. He rose through the ranks to become the chief financial officer of the Energy Transfer Partners and then the CEO in 2001. He later became the executive chairman of the company in 2006.

In 2007, Warren founded Energy Transfer Equity, which is now one of the largest energy companies in the United States. The company owns and operates more than 180,000 miles of natural gas and crude oil pipelines, as well as a number of storage facilities in the United States.

In addition to his business success, Warren is an active philanthropist and generous supporter of charitable causes. He founded the Energy Transfer Family Foundation, which has donated millions of dollars to charities and organizations dedicated to helping those in need. Kelcy Warren also serves on the board of directors of several charitable organizations, including the American Red Cross and the Horatio Alger Association.

Warren’s success and commitment to giving back to the community has earned him numerous awards and honors. He was inducted into the Horatio Alger Association in 2019, which recognizes individuals who have achieved success and committed to helping others. He was also the recipient of the 2020 Texas Business Leadership Award, in recognition of his leadership and commitment to the energy industry.

Warren’s success in business, philanthropy, and leadership has been an inspiration to many. He has dedicated himself to using his success and resources to help those in need, and his work has had a positive impact on the lives of many people.
